Poem for Birthday's

When a candle is lit.
It comes in many forms
Some brighter than others
Others more colorful than most
Candles create life amongst the darkness

When a candle is lit
A star is born
A tiny. Beautiful thing.
And each time that candle is lit
On the passing of the moon and sun
the star get's brighter
More beautiful
More happier
Than anything in the world.

So Happy Birthday to all
And remember...
For each passing second
Always remember....
Where the star first began.
In the Heavens above

Poem for the Departed

Like a leaf on a tree branch
It withers and flies away
Never to regain it's youth
To fall upon the green grass
To be one with nature

Life comes and goes
Like the rising and falling of the tide
Like the rising sun and the setting of the moon
Always turning
Always Dancing
Always seeking comfort
Even though they the polar opposite

A child is born
grows
matures
See's the world changing around thee
and when the world stops turning
the child's days are forever done.

 Let us remember the departed
For the souls of the many
are now waiting for the ferryman
To take them across the vast ocean
To Paradise. They go.

Lonesome Road: Poem redux

Hold your hands together
And say a prayer with me
Together we’ll walk that Lonesome Road

Roads miles long
Dawn setting in
Dusk creeping up
With no end in sight

On that Lonesome Road:
Sorrow, pain, regret, and betrayal
How long can you go?
How far can you go?
Before you break.
Before you feel hopelessness

I know what you’re thinking
How long can I go?
On that Lonesome Road

At the end of the Road
There is something that you should know
At the end of the road there is something that is waiting for you
Something that the road holds dear to its heart for many years....
That feeling of hope.
Whenever you have to walk down the road.
Remember hope guides you upon thy kingdom.

Doge. Doge Everywhere

She comes from the sky
In massive waves of yellow fluffiness
She cares not of man's opinion
Not even the opinions of herself
When God created man, in fact!
God created.....Doge.

Doge. Doge everywhere
Always starring
Saying random nonsensical things
Bark when it wants to
Sleep when it wants to
Eat when it wants to
And never goes to the bathroom

Because she is the mighty Doge
Fearsome
Loyal
Hungry
So much wow.

Doge. Doge everywhere
She lifts buildings with her small head
Faster than a speeding bullet
More powerful than Superman
Able to leap mountains in a single bound
So much awesome.
